Marian Vedder
Marian Vedder Mueller, 81, of Jacksonville, Ill. and formerly of Breckenridge and Buena Vista, died Aug. 26, 2006, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
She was born Sept. 7, 1924, near Jacksonville, the daughter of Virgil and Ida Jane Vedder.
She married Olin Mueller Nov. 3, 1945, in Bluffs, Ill. He preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1994.
Mrs. Mueller was a longtime resident of Breckenridge, living on a ranch with her husband where they annually hosted a picnic for members of the Denver Broncos and area youth.
She was a bus driver for Summit County School District.
She belonged to the United Church of Christ Congregational Church in Buena Vista, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Buena Vista and was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, Topaz Chapter in Salida.
She was an avid Bronco fan and enjoyed bowling, cards and fishing.
Mrs. Mueller is survived by a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Aug. 29, 2006, at Cody and Sons Memorial Home in Jacksonville with burial in Nortonville, Ill. Order of Eastern Star services were held at 7 p.m. Aug. 28, 2006.
