Susie Mary Reno, 88 of Salida, died Sept. 11, 2006, at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. She was born April 19, 1918, in Pueblo to Joseph and Rose (Renda) Cardinelli. She enjoyed being outside doing yard work, spending time with her family, and cooking for relatives and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Reno is survived by her sons, Carl (Jane) Reno Jr. of Buena Vista and Thomas (Linda) Reno of Salida; brother, James Cardinelli of Salida; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl John Reno Sr.; brother, Angelo Cardinelli; sisters, Mary Gentile, Helen Fear and Sister Consuella. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 15, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home. Mountain Mail
