Betty Day, 64, died Sept. 10, 2006, in Pueblo. She was born June 10, 1941, in Center to the late Gus and Mary (Leewaye) Palmer. She is survived by son, Tom (Penny) Day, New Mexico; daughter, Georgynne (Ron) Hill of Salida; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three sisters, three brothers, one sister-in-law and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and one grandson. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 14, 2006, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Salida.
