| Judith Kay Greear (Arbon) Wright died peacefully from cancer at home on Oct. 22. She was born in Glenwood Springs on Feb. 15, 1944, to David Wade Greear and Ethelmae Hancock Greear. She is survived by her husband, Wendell Wright; daughter Danelle Arbon Sandell (Brant) of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; son Brian Arbon (Kirsten Glennen) of Placentia, Calif.; stepdaughter Angela Howe of El Cajon, Calif.; stepdaughter Kerri Wheeler of Houston, Texas. Grandchildren include Sarah, Shawna, Landrie, River and DeKara. She is also survived by sisters and spouses, Nedra (Donald) Werking of Aurora; and Mary Jane (Don) Humphrey of Lincoln, Neb. Wright grew up in Colorado, living in Glenwood Springs, Salida and Leadville. She finished her school years in Ogden, Utah, graduating from Ogden High School in 1962. She moved to California and was employed by Pacific Telephone for more than 20 years. With her husband Wendell, she relocated to the Norman, Okla., area upon retirement. Wright is said to have had an outgoing personality and a gift for friendship. She will be missed by her many friends, her family - immediate and extended - and especially by the love of her life, Wendell, as well as by her 12-year-old granddaughter she had helped to raise, DeKara. |
